Spring Lane School, Northampton opened for the first time on November 16th 1874.  The old Victorian school is now long gone and in that time many children have spent their early years receiving an education there. This web site is about those children, their school and their community.

The school has been built, rebuilt and modified over the years. Currently, the site is being redeveloped to accommodate the larger number of pupils to be admitted with the change to a primary school. The new campus is very modern and designed for the 21st century.

The ways in which the school has changed will be chronicled on this site.
